As someone relatively new to spin classes, I was interested to read an article the other day about the ‘hover’ move being unsafe / injury-prone and not recommended.
I’m interested in views on this from those more experienced. To be honest I don’t really care if it’s not an effective “real cycling training” move, as I’m not a cyclist and use spin purely for cardio fitness – but I am interested in the joint impact risks (especially on knees) and whether there’s any reason to be concerned.
