Hey Julie…it really depends! A lot of times we do try to give a range for women and men, as well as say what we as a trainer will be using. The good thing about you being at home is you can easily switch between weights all you want 🙂 Since you are just starting out, you can invest in a set or two – maybe 5s and 10s…if you need to go lighter then 5s, you can always grab water bottles.
